Following the release of Jonas Kopp's capturing debut album and the recent Transllusion and Drexciya re-issues, the Berlin powerhouse starts the year with a bang.

Tresor Records is proud to introduce the debut collaboration between all-time reference DJ Deep, and emerging artist Roman Poncet, with two powerful 12"s released back-to-back, exploring both modern and classic interpretations of techno.

DJ Deep, uncovered by Laurent Garnier in the early ‘90s, has always rested on the cusp of modernity, whether in the realm of house or techno, relentlessly delivering visionary selections throughout. As label owner of Deeply Rooted, DJ Deep seeks out likeminded artists, including Poncet, to propel his vision of contemporary sounds.

Roman Poncet, surfaced in 2013 with a growing catalog on labels as Deeply Rooted, Taapion or Figure. The blend of the two producers is simply incendiary and their profound compatibility takes all its sense on these two EPs.

Benales is a DJ and producer known for his unique blend of raw, dark, and deep techno and house, with nods to Detroit influences. Based in France, he has been making waves in the underground techno scene since the late 90s. With an extensive vinyl collection and a talent for selecting tracks that resonate with crowds, Benales has become a respected DJ in Europe, regularly playing at top clubs such as Tresor, Rex Club, Radion or Le Sucre, and sharing the stage with renowned artists such as DVS1, Zadig, Surgeon, Steve Bicknell, Dj Pete, and James Ruskin.

Aside from his skills behind the decks, Benales is also a gifted music producer. He has released several EPs and remixes on acclaimed labels such as Sino (Technasia label), KEY Vinyl (Freddy K label), Mitsubasa, Analog Solutions, Knotweed, Diffuse Reality, and more. In addition, he is a signed artist on Construct Re-Form label, with several releases on the horizon, including a VA on K S R, CRF, Matterwave, and S.lab.

Benales' talent for music production has earned him international recognition, especially for his releases "Elements part 1 & part 2". His unique style and skills as a DJ and producer have cemented his status as a respected figure in the underground techno community, known for his powerful and unforgettable sets.
