Some produce greenhouse gases and promote warming of our planet through the greenhouse effect, while others reduce the amount of greenhouse gases promoting cooling of our planet. Thereby, by trapping heat, greenhouse gases contribute to our planet's warming and the biosphere provides the necessary environmental conditions for survival. And of course, Biosphere is the moniker of one Geir Janssen, who has been a constant influence on ambient music throughout his career. The warmth and humanity of dub meets the cold & accurate impulses of techno. This mixture of deep techno, fast dub techno and deep house is an example of the power of spatiality. Elements in the mix both have ethereal space along warm woven textures. An architectural, structural, and musical soothing journey. Starting with a dub techno track that samples the movie Blade runner (1982). Put your seatbelt on as this mix will kick upwards 144 BPM!

Ness is the alias of Andrea Deplano, a pioneering force in the world of deep and hypnotic techno, with a career spanning over a decade. Raised in Sardinia, with a background in sound engineering and a passion for obsessive rhythms and atmospheric soundscapes, he has honed his craft to masterful levels. His performances and productions are a journey through the depths of techno, with a focus on hypnotic rhythms and immersive textures. Over the years, he has performed at some of the world's most renowned clubs and festivals. He has also collaborated with several respected labels in the industry, showcasing his ability to seamlessly incorporate contemporary sounds in his productions. In addition to his work as a producer and DJ, he has also made significant contributions to the techno community sometimes as an event organizer more often as a label manager. In 2010, he co- founded The Gods Planet, an Italian electronic music label that quickly gained recognition for its innovative and high-quality techno releases.
Through his music and label work, Ness has become an ambassador for the hypnotic techno movement. His tracks are beloved by fans worldwide for their ability to transport the listener to otherworldly realms.

Kalumet is Zoltan Vajda from Hungary - one of the old-school storytellers of the psytrance scene. Active since the mid-90s, he’s witnessed the global rise and evolution of psychedelic music firsthand. His sets are deep, twisted journeys, shaped by decades of experience and an eclectic mix of influences - from Joy Division and Kraftwerk to Spirit Zone and global folk traditions.

Starting with guitar and bass in the late ‚80s, Kalumet’s sonic path led him through punk, industrial, techno, and psytrance. Under aliases like Ork Monk and Tiger Punch, he’s performed in unforgettable venues across the globe - from catacombs and mountaintops to jungles and beaches, and on the main stages of Ozora, Boom, Voov, and more.

Artificial intelligence, a sublabel of Warp.

The best of Warp records and ambient-techno from 1991 to 1998. In 1992, Warp records released the highly influential compilation Artificial intelligence that was 25 years ago. I made this mix of my favorite Warp tracks but also some other tracks released on similar influential labels at the same time such as GPR (General production recordings), Rising high records and Apollo. 1991 to 1995 was for me the best era of electronic music. Enjoy!

Artificial intelligence

Imagining the journey of a Blade runner, a skin job, in Los Angeles circa 2019 and using Vangelis covers and mainly tracks inspired by the soundtrack, I created an imaginary journey of Rick Deckard strolliing in LA 2019. Sound bytes from the sectors of Blade runner, tracks and samples from the movie were used. It’s a trip into the words of the LAPD, Bryant, Gaff, Deckard, Dick’s universe, product placement and obviously, an hommage to Vangelis…All those moments will hopefully not be lost in time...
