I spent all of the noughties and early 2010's DJing around Bristol, having played my first gig down the local pub at the age of 16, hence the name ‘Little’ Jo - that's what everyone called me.  Went on to play in various clubs, bars, private parties etc. Held a few residencies at places like The Fez Club, Liquid, Bijou and Bar Latino, and also had a couple of guest mixes on Galaxy Radio. Hung up the headphones about ten years ago (and since then moved to Exeter and started a family), however I'm now rediscovering my love for DJing, as well as just getting back out onto dance floors more often and spending more time indulging in music. A big lover of all things house, from chilled and melodic through to afro and techy, but most of the time you'll find me spinning the deep, soulful and disco side of house… always with a few classics sprinkled in.

Mitsubio is the production alias of Jon Leisure, Bristol-based DJ and founder of Leisure Recordings. Having DJed since the mid-90s, Jon figured nearly 30 years later it was time to start producing, instead of only playing other people’s music.

With a several thousand-strong record collection that spans house, disco, funk, hip hop, jungle and other more niche genres, Mitsubio brings these influences together without tying the project to one genre.
