This is my first mix of Acid and Hard techno since my last party at Nuclear Free Zone in 2008! It was done for a Techno Radio show on 27th of July 2013. This mix includes 10 new, promo tracks.

All other tracks have either appeared on my Record Label (Getafix Records) or are my tracks on other record labels (Stay Up Forever; Routemaster; Bang On; DPIM etc.) I hope you enjoy the mix, and please download, share, and repost.

@Ciuciek is taking control of our eighth podcast with 60 minutes of pounding acid techno straight from Poland!

Native of Tricity in the northern part of the country, it’s in the late 90s while the raves were fully booming in the former bunker of Gdansk that he has been caught of passion for the underground scene and its frenetic sound. A passion that we can obviously find in his unique acid style today, whose incredible energy could set fire to any reluctant dancefloor.

With massive releases on flagship labels of the acid UK movement such as Stay Up Forever, System Rejects and a lot more, he has definitely made his mark as one of the most exciting artists of the polish electronic scene.

That’s one of the many reasons we’re so glad to host him on this new episode, which will surely get you jumping all around. Good vibes, fast rhythm and pure banging acid techno!

For the next episode of our podcast series, we’re glad to host one of the new agitators of the french rave scene @Teokad !

Co-founder of the Rennes-based collective Mikrokosm whose unhinibited vibes have been hitting Breton dancefloors for more than 5 years, it is with a total freedom of influences that he has built his very own and rowdy style of acid techno. 

Between strong scents of early-hardstyle, UK infused rhythms and a special skill for epic breaks, it must be said that his arsenal is pretty well loaded. An arsenal that he always deploys with an overflowing generosity, and a pure frenzy vibe.

WP MIX SERIES #12 l TEOKAD

Co-founders of the Rennes based collective Mikrokosm, @DICA_mkrksm & @Teokad have always shared the same love for acid sounds and high-powered rhythms. A devoted passion that brought them to collaborate on pure bangin’ tracks, but also to play gigs all over Europe and beyond in the past years, each one on their own. 

Allowing them to constantly improve their skills, those years have also been the opportunity to respectively push their sounds towards greater efficiency and power, by taking new trajectories, or going deeper in their own styles. This is where DICA’s UK acid-techno got overboosted with rolling basslines and other trance-like sounds, while Teokad added strong scents of early hardstyle to his arsenal.

But since friendship, Brittany's roots and acid always rule, it seemed pretty obvious that they would join forces on stage at one point or another. And they just did it the best way, with a 4-hands live performance played for the first time last summer at the Astropolis Festival.
