I took big beats and tried to get some nice instrumentals.  Some of it sounds like Jazz, but I have been told it is properly Rhythm & Blues.  

My biggest compositional influence has been the RZA and Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind.  This album is not angry, but it incorporates their compositional principles as best I could.  And a shot out to Ink the Ill Scene Illustrator for introducing me to this genre of music.

Another tale of salvation through belief.  Another song about how a crack of light breaking through the darkness shined a light on a path.  And how the ordeal of being lost and found led to another level of wisdom .  "Let It Come To You" is a very real story and is a philosophy that works.

Sometimes the reality of daily life can get you down. Eating shit all day at a job, then coming home to do chores and work on my music and business. Now that I'm making a lot more progress my attitude has improved a lot, but it can still get tough sometimes. This song was written in a real negative state, making the statement that life is short, dark, and complex.
