Benjamin Dantès - Fahrenheit

All songs are composed for and first played with real instruments. However sometimes, we use several vst instruments to improve the sound.  We experiment with electronic/EDM sounds and effects, alienate natural instrument, sometimes make it sound more electronic.
We are the rest of a musician group, quite a few years ago (at school), actually instrumentalists, 2 female, one of them piano, oboe, the other piano, clarinet, 1 male, all kinds of guitar, also bass and ukulele. The other two are unfortunately missing now (1 female who was our main singer (bad luck, so we have only us - background singers) and violin and 1 male, also guitars). Occasionally there is a real electric guitar or bass, but probably not recognizable as such. So now we sound quite different than before or, at least here...before starting here, our style contained different elements, folk, classical, pop-Rock, sometimes also Hard/Punk-Rock or Metal. When we play live, we still have that sound. We hope some people like our music here!

Benjamin Dantès est Auteur-Compositeur-Chanteur. Né en banlieue Parisienne, il a rejoint la capitale afin de se consacrer entièrement à ses chansons. En parallèle il a travaillé avec des artistes tels que Elodie Frégé, Christophe,Louane etc...

Constitué de 4 membres : Alexandra (Alex) au chant et aux choeurs, Albert (Al) à la composition, aux arrangements, guitares, claviers et choeurs, Thierry (TT) à la batterie et aux percussions, Pierre-Marie (PM) à la basse, et d'un 5è membre (off stage) : Carole Send (parolière du groupe, textes Fr et En).
Notre marque essentielle de fabrique : Nos titres, outre à la voix, laissent toujours une place forte à l’instrumental. Par nos mélodies, alliées à la musicalité des mots, notre ambition est de toucher un large public !!!

Hello. I love different kind of music and try no to stay in a comfortable style. In a song my priorities go to melody and harmony but what counts in the end is the emotional impact of the song. I do everything by myself with my DAW and i am therefore also interested by tips in mixing or on composition. I'd be glad to share advises and receive feedback and comments. Wish you all the joy and pleasure that only music can bring. 

Those who inspired me and who always have a special place in my mind for their whole creation and their wonderful melodies : Alan Parsons Project, Genesis, Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush. I tried some covers to remember some of their songs.

I must say that i am a bit disapointed by GenAI nowadays applied to artistic creation. I think there is already too many sounds on soundcloud that was one of the last place for 'real' artists, i mean human. This is so easy and quick to release something that it will soon overwhelm and discourage all newcomers and I really hate to be cheated by an AI when i listen to a voice. When i was young the promese about robots was to make them do what was painfull and what we dislike (hard and dangerous physical work), but never art ! And now we will soon have machine to have fun and we will keep the hard work
