Drum Programming assignment, I tried to make the beat upgrade as it went along.

Drum Programming

1. Kick is me hitting my drawers
2. Clap is me hitting my shoes together
3. Closed Hihat is me hitting two metal objects together
4. Open Hihat is me spinning my ring
5. Bass is me playing my Otamatone
6. Synth is me playing my Stylophone
7. Dragged my fingers across my comb for a fast snare
8. Flick started a lighter for an alternative snare/hihat
9. Sampled hit sound (from online)
10. Sampled metal pipe sound (from online)

Rhythmic Noise

A Tron-like Drum and Bass track for project 3. I tried to make the analog bass sound very resonant by adding Chorus Ensemble to it. I also achieved this by adding reverb, delay, and EQ'ing it too.

Drum and Bass

I used an Analog for the base chord progression with a low frequency no resonance square wave for oscillator one and a high frequency no resonance sine wave for oscillator two. I also used a saxophone instrument and bass clarinet instrument both from sound packs that I installed.

The Chord Progression that I used was A, D, F, G, but for the final 4 measures I used g#, D, C, D for a bluesey finish.

Call and Response

A Synth/Rock composition that aims to resonate with multiple feelings as the song changes keys and even tempo several times throughout the piece.
