a short test with the fantastic LW 258VCO (coupled with serge waveshaper). this connection and the joint feedback path makes these two osc extremely versatile. lots of harmonic overtones and even undertones possible depending on what mixture of wave is going through the tws.
also a test how to use the addac stochastic function generator in a tamed setting, every envelope is slightly different, the sequence gets "humanized".

Cath & Phil Tyler play Anglo-American folk music using guitar, banjo, voice and fiddle. Coming together musically through a shared love of traditional narrative song, full voiced sacred harp singing and sparse mountain banjo, they have performed on stages as diverse as the Royal Opera House in London and a dank tower in the old city walls of Newcastle. 

For this release they've kindly shared with us 5 new works written & recorded in the heat of the summer 2020 lock-down, taking in traditional tunes, workers songs and laments crafted with words from the past and present. The stripped-back selection offers an intimate portrait of the duo alone at home in the North of England, singing ghostly tales that echo from their bedroom through the empty pubs, folk clubs and spaces where people come together to listen, meet, drink and dance. A selection that pulls at the heart strings and offers some much needed respite in these trying times.

A companion piece to 2019's "ASMR," an “arresting instrumental piece inspired by the inexplicable chills that sometimes run down your back" (NPR's All Things Considered), "ASMR II" invites deep listening into its sublime soundworlds made up of ambient textures that combine post-rock and modern minimalism.

BENJAMIN LOUIS BRODY & IAN CHANG began their collaboration with, “Floating Into Infinity,” originally composed as a ballet in 2017. The work is a unique composition that utilizes a new sampling software for drummers called Sensory Percussion. Developed by Sunhouse, it’s a true leap forward in drumming technology, combining the nuance and control of an acoustic drum and the limitless possibilities of digital sound. The technology allows Brody and Chang to push the boundaries of the drum set, bringing a vast enormous soundscapes to the composition. Later in 2017, they continued their collaboration with the spine-tingling cut, "ASMR,” from Chang’s debut solo EP, Spiritual Leader. NPR’s All Songs Considered described the track as an “arresting instrumental piece inspired by the inexplicable chills that sometimes run down your back.” Bandcamp Daily describes the piece as “a perfect example” of the use of Sensory Percussion where “various textural and melodic samples merge to create an atmospheric, almost ambient piece.”
