KINDLING is an evolving publication series exploring the intersection of digitally shared sound, and printed image and text, each placed together or against the other to see/hear what might happen. Through this process, KINDLING works to open a site of conversation for a community of makers, listeners and readers. While its material form may be less-than-precious, ephemeral and even recyclable, we hope the ideas, feelings or actions it may encourage will remain.

swantje j.m. lichtenstein aka MJELLMË creates music in a transdisciplinary, improvised as well as choreographed and composed mode. their work is based on deconstructed language / voice recordings, channelling of sounds and the opening of spheric and healing spaces of connection. they are creating and hoping to recover from sexist, racist, violent and other discriminating wounds existing on this planet for too many people.
