[The Endless Knot]

Lorenzo Brilli has been playing music since the age of 6 starting with the piano and moving then with passion and curiosity to the rich world of percussion instruments, always influenced by his family background in visual art, ceramics, architecture, design. In his personal works, Lorenzo explores the world of drums and percussion through manipulated and sampled sounds, treating each sound or noise as a potential unit for musical experimentation. His creative process begins with the acoustic drum as a fundamental element and is later enhanced by other art forms to create new sonic codes.

Aaron Michael Smith (UN/NO) is a composer, violist and artist currently based in Boston, MA.  Aaron is interested in exploring the way that various practices and mediums overlap, reflect and contradict one another.  He is often engaged in collaborations with filmmakers, visual artists, philosophers and other musicians.
