After jamming with tenor sax for a little while to the original piece, this section felt good to me, so grabbed it, did a hard edit at the end, and pressed record. Then added a little delay and reverb, and cut some holes in what I'd recorded, to give a little more space.

This track is a posthumous collaboration with Jeffrey Melton, aka Nofi, who passed away on March 30, 2013. It was recorded live in April 2013 atop a June 2012 Melton live recording.

This  forest I am in, the rock I sit on beside this stream, the footpath below my feet, this vast planet we all live upon. The natural world so often unconsidered, ignored, I aim to give it some voice.
