Uneven is a Bristol-based producer and DJ who has been contributing wholeheartedly to the autonomic sound for years. His debut on Defrostatica is marked by three tunes that build on his reputation and offer a vanguard perspective that works in a club environment. Kokeshi label owner Alley Cat didn't hold back with her unapologetic take on the overall gritty sound of the Density EP. Her remix of the title track is a remarkable dystopian procession.

Tarot Recordings is 5 years old today! Where does the time go?

I've decided to give away/pay what you like these two tracks from around 2022 to mark the anniversary. They are designed to go as a pair. I always rather liked 'Black Magic', I actually made a full LP of baroque sounding Dubstep/Grime stuff around that time, but ultimately ended up shelving it, making way for 'Dispel' instead. 'Ov The Night' is the only other track from said LP which ended up seeing a release.
