Guardians of the Cross
'TEMPLARS 1959, Guardians of the Cross' is an epic march that transports us into the mystical world of the Knights Templar and the sacred city of Caravaca de la Cruz, Spain. In this revered place, a fragment of the True Cross is enshrined within its iconic double-armed cross, forging a profound bond with the legendary Order.

The Templars—both monks and warriors—stood as tireless protectors. Their dual nature, devout and combative, echoes through every measure of the composition, like a resonant shield guarding relics and pilgrims alike. The piece embodies the very essence of the 'Guardians of the Cross. '

Through vibrant melodies and immersive soundscapes, the music transports performers and listeners to another era. It is a sonic journey that conjures ancient landscapes and heroic tales, blending diverse styles and languages to unfold a grand narrative worthy of the knights and their enduring legend.

Mediterranean Nights - Alejandro Zorrila (Scoring Acoustic Guitars Only)

Benny Oschmann was born in 1987 in Kassel, Germany. He took professional trumpet and piano lessons from an early age and played in numerous orchestras and ensembles.

After high-school Benny studied music theory and composition at the Academy of Music Kassel and graduated with an A-grade.

In 2009 he joined Dynamedion as a composer and orchestrator.

In 2013 Benny won an Aggie Award in the category Best music for his soundtrack to The Raven – Legacy of a Master Thief.

He was part of the jury for the 2nd German Game Music Awards in 2014.

In 2015 he won the acclaimed German Game Developer Award in the category Best sound for his soundtrack for The Book of Unwritten Tales 2. In the same year his music was recorded with the Hollywood Studio Symphony in the world-famous Warner Bros. Eastwood Scoring Stage.
