The title ‘Noetic Nathalie’ is a tribute to my wife Nat, her notably noetic abilities and the goddess that she is. I could go on for days about her brilliance and what she brings to my world. It’s vast!

I've been hosting a radio show on WSUM 91.7 FM, the student-run station based in Madison, Wisconsin, since May of 2018—but I haven’t posted any recordings until now.  This is something a little different from anything I have put up in the past so I thought I would share. Stay tuned for upcoming volumes....

Every Thursday night at 8 PM Central Time, I DJ live from the WSUM studio. As a UW Madison alumni, it’s great to stay connected with the school. I try to capture a different vibe each week, often pulling in old tracks I haven’t heard in a while—not just focusing on the latest releases. Everything is done live and on the fly, based on whatever I’m feeling.

This isn’t a polished mix or an edited radio set. I talk a few times during the hour to let listeners know what’s playing. I figured I would keep it raw, even if not perfect.

Luke the Knife ft. Joey Porter (The Motet) on Clavinet, Wurlitzer, Prophet, and Will Trask (Great American Taxi) on Percussion, and Luke DJing and Guitar.

Starting off on the funkier side of things Joey gave a jazzy bent over the disco leaning sound. Will filled out the groove with some thick congas and a variety of bells and shakers. Some space disco vibes took over the middle portion of the show. Then slowly morphing into the more Tech-House side of things to finish off with high energy.

Ben Silver is a nationally touring DJ and producer renowned for his deep, emotive sound that spans House, Techno, and Downtempo. As a founding member of the National touring DJ collective Orchard Lounge, as well as an ever-growing solo career, Ben has made a name for himself by playing at top festivals and iconic venues across the country.
