5 losers from Cardiff met at the legendary dodgy all night after party spot, Netty's Fancy Dress Shop, a few years back and took to the stage to see what would happen if they just 'winged it', a lightening bolt smashed through the roof and life was breathed into what was immediately named: Sicknote. Fast forward a few years and Sicknote are touring Europe and headlining several underground festivals and punk and dance events…. with no skill between them, with just pure faith some cheap tricks and an 'in the moment' ethos,  Sicknote somehow manage to tap into something and whip their audience into a complete frenzy and leave them gagging for more every single time. A true force in the Psytrance world and beyond it, Yoni Oshrat, better known as Ace Ventura, isn't just a DJ and producer - he's an experience. For over two decades, his infectious energy has ignited dance floors worldwide. From intimate clubs to headlining major festivals, Ace Ventura has captivated audiences with his signature style. His music is characterised by a fusion of hard, pumping dancefloor oriented themes and deeper, groovier influences, always immersed in psychedelia. As a DJ his diverse musical tastes and vast musical knowledge enables him to create unique sonic experiences. In times when lineups consist mostly of short producer sets, Yoni pushes the envelope to play long sets that tell a real story, going back to the origins of DJ culture.

His passion for psytrance extends far beyond music. Alongside Liquid Soul, he co-founded Psy-Nation, a global movement encompassing a monthly radio show/podcast and a travelling party line. This dedication to the genre fosters community and discovery for psytrance enthusiasts everywhere.

While psytrance is his domain, Ace Ventura's musical curiosity extends to downtempo and dub universes.  This deep appreciation for diverse electronic styles adds another layer to his artistry, evident in his acclaimed "Ace Ventura in Dub" sets.

Ace Ventura isn't confined to the booth. Beyond solo ventures, he collaborates on successful projects like Alpha Portal (with Astrix), Alien Art (with Captain Hook), Liquid Ace (with Liquid Soul), and Acid Punks (with Outsiders), each project offering a different sound adventure.

Rocky Marsiano is the instrumental/beats project of the Portuguese old school producer/MC/DJ D-Mars. "The Pyramid Sessions", its criticaly highly acclaimed debut album (Loop:Recordings) from 2005, with a strong jazz influence, opened doors for the projecy to start performing live. With the releases of its 2nd album (Outside the Pyramid) and 3rd albums (Back To The Pyramid) D-​Mars further explored jazz fusion by adding elements of soul/funk and Brazilian music (his mother was raised in Rio).​ The fourth album "Back To The Pyramid" was entirely produced in Amsterdam, where D-Mars is now living, and is a tribute to his mother's Brazilian records. The album was released on vinyl only as a way to show his respect to that format and culture.
The latest release "Meu Kamba" brings a very new element to Rocky's production: music from Angola, Cabo Verde and Mozambique. Receiving a lot of international praise, "Meu Kamba" is a colourful journey through the great rhythms from these three african countires.
﻿Rocky Marsiano has performed at all the main venues and festivals in Portugal, (p.e., Lux Frágil, Mexe Fest, Gulbenkian, Lisbon Casino) and was selected by BBC1's DJ and music ambassador Gilles Peterson as part of his night at Casa da Música (Porto). He also DJs regularly at some of Lisbon's main clubs (Radio-Hotel, Music Box, etc.)
