La entrevista fue grabada en la mañana del lunes 7 de noviembre de 2022 en los estudios de ORM en Murcia.
La entrevista completa de cuarenta minutos se transmitió esa noche con la adición de dos canciones de Berlin90:
"Stormy waters" and "It´s you girl"
Angels show celebró su 30 aniversario el 5 de diciembre de 2020.
Angel y su show apoyaron a la banda desde el principio.
Cuando la pareja se conoció, era la primera vez que se veían en más de treinta años.
Con una diferencia......
Esta vez ambos eran hombres libres.

Stormy waters was first released as the opening track of the double album "UN AÑO DE ROCK EN MURCIA´91" the song was composed by Scottish lead-guitarist and vocalist Allan McCarthy for "Murcia Joven" a "Battle of the bands" talent competition organised by Radio station Onda Regional de Murcia & Murcia council. The recordings were made under unusual conditions at Pepe Moreno´s Estudios-PM in Murcia, Spain July 1991.
Stormy Waters se lanzó por primera vez como tema de apertura del álbum doble "UN AÑO DE ROCK EN MURCIA´91". La canción fue compuesta por el guitarrista y vocalista escocés Allan McCarthy para "Murcia Joven", un concurso de talentos de "Batalla de bandas". Organizado por la emisora de Radio Onda Regional de Murcia y el Ayuntamiento de Murcia.
Las grabaciones fueron realizadas en condiciones inusuales en los Estudios-PM de Pepe Moreno en Murcia, España, julio de 1991.

It´s you girl written by Allan McCarthy was recorded in July 1991 at Pepe Moreno´s PM Studios Murcia, Spain. The recordings were part of the bands prize from a competition for new bands.

Angel Sopena interviews Allan McCarthy  of the Berlin90 the group formed by inmates of a Spanish prison that surprised everyone with their music.
The last time Allan appeared on Angel's show "Musica de Contrabando" it was 1991 and the band was headline news.
But shortly after their last interview Allan who the lead vocalist, guitarist & songwriter was transferred without warning or reason to Carabanchel Spain's notorious maximum security prison it was the last time they met.
A relic of Franco's regime the prison considered the most dangerous in Europe was closed for good in 1998.
The interview appeared in print on Sunday 11th December 2022 reaching an audience of over 23 million.

Formed in a Spanish prison in the 1990´s they won a recording session as a prize in a national music competition and briefly made Spanish headlines till frontman Allan McCarthy was sent to Madrid´s notorious Carabanchel max-security prison ending the band till thirty years later an interview between Allan and Spanish DJ & presenter reached an audience of 23 million Spaniards creating new media interest both in Spain and the UK
