Gnork and Luv*Jam have been working together for more than 5-6 years now, doing lots of gigs, remixes, collaborative EPs, appearing on various compilations. They have always worked a little bit more than what they let us think, accumulating tons of unreleased gems. The time has come to reveal some hidden goodies and we're proud to be premiering one of these secret blorpers from their new EP 'Bonus Blorps', out on Crow Castle Cuts.

The original Blorp93 yellow vinyl surfaced in 2013 and was championed by the likes of RVDS, Bradley Zero, DVS1 and Wolf Music. Since this time, there have been a few secret cuts floating around here and there, some of which lots of people were 'demanding' to be pressed. Your prayers have been listened, those very secret Blorpers are here on one precise 12", and for starters you can listen to 'Sexxxx in Space' from Gnork's infamous Lost In Budapest Mixtape. Luv*Jam completes the secret space circle with some special dream nips. Dub and acid are the words as Marlon Hoffstadt goes deep on ‘Simple Communication’ the sixth EP in his Midnight Themes series. The Berlin producer has maintained a busy release schedule in 2018 and is intent on carrying through into 2019, starting with three tracks that fly the flag for his current sound: deep, dubby and subtly euphoric.

Opener “Take A Moment” is a finely tuned piece of weighty dubbed out techno with whiffs of vintage pool parties and a lonely acid line creepin’n’bleepin on the horizon. “Action and Reaction” harks back to the 90s, rolling out waves of pads and melodies that ascend and descend while a mean old bassline keeps proceedings on track. Clocking in at 11 minutes, the two act play of “Eye Contact” closes the EP on a blissed out note.

Fede Lng returns to self-owned Axe On Wax with Flight Mode EP; a cloud drifting four cut EP containing two originals in which the man himself describes as "the most chilled stuff I've ever done". It's not gone without notice, with his two previous records now veering away from his hallmark dance-floor lead work and taking on a more considered melodic form. The two remaining tracks come from Ciel and Yu Su, who step up to remix duty this time round, showcasing two unsurprisingly beautiful re-imaginations of the original cuts. 

We're premiering Yu Su's version of Fede and Mojeaux's Flight Mode which transforms what is already a serene glide across the pale blue into something slightly more ethereal. Metronomic tribal percussion fills the majority of the mix which is then accompanied by softer hues of the original's melodic palette.
