"Serenade" for Orchestra, op. 12 can be dated to approximately 1899; "Fruhlingslied" a piano composition  which the composer notated as op.13 was performed in April 1900 in NYC, so in all likelihood this piece was most likely composed before 1900; 1898 to 1899.  it was met favorable acclaim in Europe and the US.
