Mix contains Subbass ... so a mobile phone without good headphones won't do ;-)
This is basically playing around with new Loops and big room reverb, some crazy delay effects and and integrated HRTF after moving from garage band to logic. Just a way of finding back into pro software...
Not quite happy with the HRTF though, as I do not like to decide to only support headphones with a mix. So it is just used to get the mess with all the echos cleaned up a bit...

Grooving Slide into 2022

Gosh!  Over a year since I've posted a new song!  It’s been a rough few years, but for me, the past 6 months have been particularly hard.  

This song was written ages ago, but I wanted to record it, just to have a copy for myself.  It’s a one-take piano/singing thing, with flaws but a sense of the underlying feeling.  While I was producing it, it developed a life of its own.  I had thought I’d rock it up with quite a conventional sound, but the drums and bass insisted on having their own unique flavours – ribbons of synth.  Aah well, here it is, a bit rough around the edges but at least I can feel that I am making music again...  thanks so much for listening!

Whose woods these are I think I know.

Swanaad

This is a wild mixture of many different styles, ideas and inspirations as the days bring them. It started all as a kind of musical diary and it still is - just that I would like each entry to be able to stand for itself, while in the beginning it was just my inner need for improvisation as an outlet for my feelings.

Who am I? Well, I am trying to find out - after a long time (almost 20 years) without my own music but having musicians around nearly every day and yet myself sticking to "zeros" and "ones" most of the time. 
Once music was my dream, comfort - even my studied profession. But then it fell asleep between "true" and "false" and the support for loved ones... I don't regret - I just have so much to discover.
