Closing off the summer with a mix from the up-and-coming Milanese project Bianco Negativo. Claudio and Davide have been building their discography over the last year with releases on labels such as their own Marguerite Records and Warsaw-based Syntetyk. Musically, the duo lies somewhere on the border between dark synth-wave and EBM, but their second label, Tocca Il Futuro, showcases their affinity for the eclectic. This Tampa-based DJ and producer has co-founded the Annunaki Cartel, sister label of Chicago-based Vanguard Sound, with releases by Joey Anderson, Jasss, and others. His own productions have found homes on labels such as Diffuse Reality, Clan Destine Records, Vakant, and many others. His most recent two EPs are on Squirrels on Film, which is run by C.L.A.W.S. and Solar, and his own recently launched label Feral Colony. He also hosts his Descendants radio show among Mutant Radio's great programming. Lock in for an hour of raw electronics finely selected by one of the best in his field.

He heads the excellent Sons of Traders label together with his cousin Mike Tansella jr. They are also a production duo that operates under the same name with releases on Gravitational Waves, Rengaine, LA-based The Black Lodge run by Kosmik, as well as an upcoming release on the stellar Frigio Records. As Tans, you can check out his work on Squirrels On Film, Diffuse Reality, Seagrave, with a recent release on Dead Channel Records that is a favorite among many selectors. He also produces music as Hannibal III (GRTW) and The Sympathizer on XCPT. He's prepared a special selection that brings together gritty old-school breaks, proto-like electro, and raw funky electronics. Lock in!

For the 19th installment of Signals we welcome Berlin based Electro head,  Lazercat.

Lazercat is a DJ, producer and crazy cat lady. Growing up in Western Canada, she made her own way towards electronic music production while training as a classical violinist. She then began DJing many years later, inspired to take to the turntables after countless hours spent on Berlins infamous dancefloors.

With a penchant for all things overlooked and under-the-radar, Lazercat's sound draws from a variety of sonic and emotional landscapes; from acidic, extraterrestrial electro to neon-drenched 80s synth-funk - and everything in between.  

Lazercat has also been actively co-running the Dreams of Neon party and livestream series in recent years, with regular DJ sets broadcast on the iconic Intergalactic FM.

This mix sees an all vinyl assault of Electro firepower. Heavy hitters throughout.

Bertram is an Amsterdam-based producer, DJ, and event organiser from Aruba. He’s active for almost 10 years in the underground scene in Amsterdam where he has developed his distinctive sound. His latest album ‘Lights out’ was released on the Dutch cult label Pinkman Records on September 22nd. This received support from Silent Servant (†) Jennifer Cardini, Gamma Intel, and many others. He has also released on Dead Channel, Sons of Traders, and Filmmaker's Body Musick, with his latest on Marguerite Records for his first of 2024. He offers a left-field take on electro, techno, EBM, breaks with surprise selections in between. He is a curator at Galactic Funk and hosts his shows on Operator Radio. He brings an immense passion for music.
