Live set from Geary Art Crawl 2022 on the Best In Town Soundsystem. Was feeling some slowed down, sexy proggy/trancey, with hints of euphoric house/techno, and some Latine flavours mixed in for this one. <3

Musa came highly recommended by Sanjeet of the Music Gallery and also Uma Nota. She's one of founders of the Best in Town Collective, the next-level thinkers and doers, who, among other accomplishments, have built their own handmade solarpowered soundsystem. Very cool, very elegant. 

Musa storms through a fiery mid-evening powerhouse of a set in the Electric Garden techno room and all blew away many a music head. This was her first Promise set, but not her last:)

A welcome sign, you’ve arrived, your temporary home on the buoyant beach. Co-founders Viv and Nick did us all a solid on the Friday night at last year’s fest by setting the foundation in house and setting the sonics free.

This opening montage outlined the one-two steps that would echo throughout the night. In the dead of winter, the room filled up early, with more and more heads experiencing firsthand this fitting entry to musa’s downtempo oeuvre - a gentle and focused dance punctuated with proggy tones and percussive flows.
