(NES )Batman Level 3

This is an update/remix to my original recording/arrangement. This is an arrangement of the main theme from 1989 nes game based on the classic slasher Friday The 13th. All music besides the opening (which was a sample taken from the score of the film) was Arranged, Performed, Produced, and Mixed by Aaron Lehnen at The Realm Recordings. All Drums and ending Bass lines, Guitar Melodies, Harmonies were composed by Aaron Lehnen.
This piece is from a series of 12 that I only had 1 day each to work on. From initial concept through learning to arranging to Performing to distributing it took between 8-16 hrs. each day for 12 days.

Friday The 13th (NES) - Cabin Theme (Metal Arrangement)

Week 4 is an excellent epic cinematic soundtrack inspired by the fantastic games The Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy, and DOOM series. I know it's an odd combo, but I'm glad it came out as a unique piece that adds various elements and feelings. Trying to incorporate various diminished chords and Locrian pitch centers was very tricky and a fun challenge.

Final Summit - Week 4

Updated Re-Release from NeoCentric's Debut Album, Once. This song is called Luna. Beautiful music and words based on a nightly love affair with the gorgeous night light in the sky, our Moon. Fun, catchy and alluring passionate Sounds, Textures and Lyrical Illustrations. Side Note: This song was all written in a day, Transcribing the begining  out of a dream.

This piece is about attempting to be yourself while the world demands you wear a mask and participate in the masquerade of life. Insightful and personal yet universal lyrics of not letting other people's facets pressure you into becoming what you are not.

Life, A Masquerade

The lyrics are extremely personal and an honest reflection of the then current situation and even reflects similarly now. The art is reflective also of the various lyrical content in the song of playing guitar, fixing my car, being broke, dealing with haters, and finding love.

Self Knowledge

Week 7 composition was based on various Sega Genesis influences from the sound set to the vibe of the melodies and chord changes. Sonic 1 was especially a huge influence in this piece.

Rapid Rhapsody - Week 7

In a spontaneous synthwave vibe, I created this rad nostalgic retrowave track in a day. for week 8's challenge. Reminds me of taking a long drive as the sunset to clear your mind.  Enjoy!

Drive - Week 8

This track is a groover with dub reggae influences along with some pop rock and lush vocal harmonies. Please enjoy this jam I wrote when I was 18.

My Time (Radio Edit)

For week 9, we fell into a weird dark synthy mood... turned out a nice surprise. Has a Cyberpunk atmosphere to it and I made the artwork match. Hope you enjoy this interesting tune, that has some Nine Inch Nails and Bjork vibes in it.
