Back on Operator in 2024 with a monthly show every 3rd Saturday of the month entitled 'Tied Together', here's the first one in the series!

Tied Together is a monthly radio show here on Operator and a bi-monthly club night at De Schietclub in Amsterdam. The radio show as the title suggests will encompass the wide range of my musical influences all the way from the 90's garage and deep house sound that first tempted me to start DJing through to early influences of R&B, hip-hop, disco and soul. Along the way I will give context on labels, artists and producers who are always in heavy rotation on my speakers at home as well as in sets, from the relatively obscure to stone-cold classics. Throughout the series of shows I will be joined by guests who are invited to share their musical influences whilst explaining how certain records tied together the loose ends in their musical journey.

Bevan's influences as a DJ first started with the deep, garage house sound from NY and Chicago. From here he built up a record collection largely consisting of modern soul, disco, boogie, house and UK garage. You can expect to hear these genres in his mixes along with newer influences he has picked up in recent months
