A child of the 80’s, Bexu has been awash in electronic music since as far back as he can recall. From deep within the timbered valley of Cluj-Napoca, he has steadfastly been at work in the studio crafting his own sophisticated take on the nascent Romanian minimalism he grew up around. His unique style tends to surprise even seasoned listeners through its delicate, unfolding intricacy poised over powerful functionality, as basslines and synths warble and intertwine through flashes of 90’s synth-wave, casting spells and tantalizing darker, urban moods with his clever use of found-sound samples and percussive hyperplay.
