EP: "Tragen wir Träume auf zerbrechlichen Wegen" - Musik zu "Hinter uns das Land"

Diese EP, veröffentlicht von Beyond & Before Music, präsentiert zwei unterschiedliche Interpretationen der Songs "Hier auf Hela" und "Lappland", die Schlüsselszenen aus dem Roman "Hinter uns das Land" von Frank Talmon l'Armée musikalisch einfangen. "Hier auf Hela" fängt die beklemmende Stimmung und die Ungewissheit an der Küste von Hela ein, wo die Flüchtlinge auf eine Überfahrt warten, nachdem sie dem Grauen von Stutthof entkommen konnten. Der Song liegt in den Versionen Musical, Filmmusik, Alternative Rock und Experimental vor. Er spiegelt die innere Zerrissenheit der Protagonisten wider, die zwischen der Hoffnung auf Rettung und der Angst vor dem Ungewissen schwanken.

"Lappland" hingegen thematisiert die Überfahrt nach Dänemark an Bord des gleichnamigen Schiffes. Der Song, verfügbar in Folk, Folk-Rock und Singer-Songwriter, zeichnet die bedrohliche Atmosphäre auf See nach, die ständige Gefahr durch Torpedos und die Erinnerungen an die Tragödie der "Wilhelm Gustloff". Trotz der allgegenwärtigen Bedrohung steht auch hier die Hoffnung auf einen Neuanfang in der Fremde im Mittelpunkt.

Released by Beyond & Before Music, this EP presents two distinct interpretations of the songs "Here on Hela" ("Hier auf Hela") and "Lappland", capturing key scenes from the novel "Hinter uns das Land" / "Behind Us The Land" by Frank Talmon l'Armée. The songs illuminate the dramatic escape of the Feyerabend family and other refugees from East Prussia in the spring of 1945.

"Here on Hela" captures the oppressive atmosphere and uncertainty on the coast of Hela, where the refugees wait for a passage after escaping the horrors of Stutthof. The song is available in musical, soundtrack, alternative rock, and experimental versions. It reflects the inner turmoil of the protagonists, torn between the hope of rescue and the fear of the unknown.

"Lappland", on the other hand, deals with the crossing to Denmark aboard the ship of the same name. The song, available in folk, folk-rock, and singer-songwriter versions, portrays the threatening atmosphere at sea, the constant danger of torpedoes, and the memories of the "Wilhelm Gustloff" tragedy. Despite the omnipresent threat, the hope for a new beginning in a foreign land is also a central theme.

"Carrying Dreams on Fragile Paths" is a musical reflection on escape, loss, and the power of hope. The music captures the inner turmoil of the refugees, caught between the memory of the past and the vague hope for a better future.

"I first put an old version of the song together in July 2024 — it was like modern electropop with a light melodic future-bass vibe," explains netanya. “I put it aside until I eventually mixed it with a hard dance track this year, and it clicked. Adding those Eurodance elements gave it the energy it needed. This song is about surrendering to the moment, and Myah brought incredible emotion and energy to the recording. She was the perfect voice to bring the story to life.”

“Meant to Be” follows netanya’s recent singles “Fascination”, “Romeo Not Juliet”, and “Ondine’s Curse”. All four tracks will appear on his highly anticipated upcoming album Without You, confirmed for release in February 2026.
