Cannibal Coconuts strike again! 

It sounds like a headline in a British tabloid or the title of an 80s trash horror movie, but those familiar with the Indie Dance/Dark Disco scene know exactly what’s going on here. Flying solo this time, inasmuch as Cannibal Coconuts is not a duo anymore, Angel Piña", also known as "Dubman F., brings to life “Above The End”, a three-original EP coming soon on the label he can call home: the Spanish powerhouse Espacio Cielo expertly curated by our dear friend master Parissior (SXDNS206/FREEDL043/BANDCAMP002).

Using old & new influences, Angel manages to deliver something completely different from his output as Dubman F, through which House and Minimal cuts are poured. Darkness allied with groove sets the mood of the Cannibal Coconuts’ sonority – and even alone he managed to keep this aura untouched.

Premiered here, “Stargate” hits hard when it comes to delivering cosmic vibes to the dance floor. Trippy and well-conceived, the theme develops its pizzazz via elegant arpeggios, progressive leads, pacing percussive elements, and a dynamic bassline. A must-have!

Run by Mike Sacchetti and Ivan De La Rouch Logical Records readies its next catalogue number, Meteors EP – a various artist potpourri with music from the label bosses themselves, Cornelius Doctor, Local Suicide and Zombies In Miami among others. Mexican duo Zombies In Miami, who recently released their album 2712 on Permanent Vacation, contribute their track Fantasy, striking like a coment on planet earth with this one and at least musically 'want to make you move from the bed down to the down to the flo', makin' it so good, you don't wanna leave but they gotta know what's your fantasy.' Staying true to their signature sound the night creatures Canibal & Jenouise, the names behind Zombies In Miami, created a hypnotic Disco-ish take with intriguing chords and a solid pushing bass line as Fantasy definitely brings back those loose yourself in dance moment any electronic music affiliate misses in these times.

EXCLUSIVE: Zombies In Miami - Fantasy [Logical Records]

We are happy to announce the debut EP Portuguese-Italian Vhyce.
After his track „Back To Where I Never Was“ on a well received Lost Tapes Vol. 4, he is no stranger to the AEON camp anymore. Known from his releases on Catz N’ Dogz „Pets Recordings“, the young producer delivers a stunning 4 track EP with the title „These Words“.
Vhyce has a very characteristic sound design, which makes his simple and almost minimalistic, but catchy tunes so special; Though always trying to add something new to his repertoire. Like on the title track „These Words“ it was one of the first few attempts for him to sing some vocals on his own instrumentals. „While not being good at singing, I think it really set you free to be able to express your ideas yourself without relying on someone else understanding of your vision,“ he claims.
The track is built around an arpeggiated bass line oscillating between two sequences thats progressively build tension without being too obvious. The lyrics „These words have no meaning“ fell mysterious and open to interpretation. 
 
On the remix duty there’s no one less but „Chicken Lips“ legend Andrew, better known as The Emperor Machine. He stripped back the original to a more funky & grooving rework.  “The plan was to create something that keeps the same emotion as the original mix but still feels different enough without changing direction too much & I think I managed to achieve that”, Andrew says. And yes, what a musical masterpiece he delivered!
„Strive for Ego“ is an attempt to fuse „Can“ & „Neu!“ Krautrock influences into a club track“, says Vicente. Constantly driving forward, with perfect temper and timing to rise tension and built up energy Track title refers to the lyrics... „I’m nobody“.
„Old You“ has a more traditional Italo Disco feel. The „happy“ sounding bass line is counterbalanced with rough and psychedelic analog leads, reminding of traveling through time and space in a 80‘s Sci-Fi movie. The vocoded lyrics shall „refer to an hate-love relationship with your old you....Maybe because it „holds you“, Vhyce describes.

The boys released their second EP, featuring two dance-floor orientated tunes that will be sure to spin out a few right-minded partygoers !

Celestial Drift is cosmic disco banger that draws on elements of progressive trance and driving Italo. It comes complete with nuanced percussion, a titillating arpeggiator line and an array of galactic synth melodies.

Replicants, the second offering, delivers a pounding hambone bassline, bolstered by an unrelenting 303, spacey sitar stabs and a futuristic vocal sample.

Remix duties are provided by Mexican dark disco wizard, Roliva, and Mélopée stalwart, Camilo Sanjuan.

Beyond The Struttopshere is a sonic collaboration between two London-based DJs channelling their considerable musical production experience and boundless love of cosmic chugging dark disco. Their debut EP ‘New Frontier’ was released on Gouranga Music in late 2020 and found much acclaim among Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston’s A Love From Outer Space online fraternity, also appearing on Juan Mclean’s (DFA Records) contribution to Tim Sweeney’s Beats In Space mix series. This propelled the duo to newfound heights, leading to highly lauded releases on esteemed labels including Mélopée Records, Astrolead Recordings, Discolypso, In Dark We Trust, Emerald & Doreen and most recently X-PRESSINGS. Beyond The Struttosphere’s music is now making sonic reverberations around the globe, hitting the airwaves of Burning Man, ADE and Sisyphos Berlin, and notching up remixes from notable legends of the scene including Rebolledo, Rigopolar, Vongold, Badknife and Mufti.
