Colombian Raver since 2003 and a DJ since 2020, Masha Ni has lived and danced through the electronic music scene of Bogotá, Buenos Aires, Madrid, Moscow and Berlin, drawing special inspiration from Russian and Eastern European cultures. Music has been the universal expression linked to all the most significant moments of her life. 

She delivers structured, elegant, and powerful sets filled with electro, space disco, dark disco, indie dance and arpeggios, always seeking the perfect moments to unleash electronic music anthems and classics. This ascending set with space vibes is a proof of that.

This time i focused on the feeling of the uprising spring in comparison with the long and dark winter. In Berlin the bridge between the winter time and the spring is know for its depressive and sometimes violent mood. I tried to capture this sensation between dark and uprising sounds combined with a melodic and bassful sound. Hope you enjoy!

BIO:
Beyond The Struttopshere is a sonic collaboration between two DJs channelling their considerable musical production experience and boundless love of cosmic chugging dark disco. Their debut EP ‘New Frontier’ was released on Discolypso Recordings in 2020 and found much acclaim among Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston’s A Love From Outer Space online fraternity, also appearing on Juan Mclean’s (DFA Records) contribution to Tim Sweeney’s Beats In Space mix series. This propelled the duo to new heights, leading to highly lauded releases on esteemed labels such as Mélopée Records, Astrolead Recordings, Discolypso, In Dark We Trust, Emerald & Doreen and X-PRESSINGS, and DJ gigs at Glastonbury’s Rabbit Hole, Secret Garden Party, Noisily Festival and Berlin’s infamous KitKat Club among many others. Beyond The Struttosphere’s music is now making sonic reverberations around the globe, hitting the dancefloors of Burning Man, House of Yes NYC, ADE, Fusion Festival, Sisyphos Berlin, and notching up remixes from notable legends of the scene including Shubostar, Rebolledo, Rigopolar, Tegel Boys, Vongold, Badknife, James Rod, Julian Sanza, Roliva, K-Effect and Mufti. The cosmonauts are frequently immersed in the studio, with live guitar now a mainstay of their productions. Their trademark sound combines fat chugging basslines with reverbed guitar riffs, syncopated arpeggiators, cosmic synths, vintage vocal samples, Italo drum fills and psychedelic 303 sequences.
