Very excited about the release of our fourth reference. We welcome Kiri, who debuts on our label with his second EP called "Gateway to Hell". The Austrian producer already showed his weapons in his first release on the amazing Kurnugû label and now offers us in this new EP 4 tracks full of personality and power including a collaboration with Parasite. Grumpy Halftime/Jungle wrapped with corrosive percussion, sinister bass and apocalyptic atmospheres. Kiri promises to make us vibrate a lot with his Drum & Bass, welcome to his dark hell.  - Response & Pliskin set fire to the rulebook and used it to cook up these two absolute masterclasses in far out Jungle Teknoism . At fifteen and thirteen minutes respectively, journey is an understatement, I've been playing Plastic Face almost in it's entirety at gigs and this track is seriously turning heads and moving limbs. created here in Rock Valley , NSW. Selecting a few key tracks that where played in ceremony a few nights ago. celebrating a dear friends 28th birthday. sitting in sacred space with hongito, 4 of us took the journey into the mystery, for a tiny eternity. most of these tracks carrying us deeper into ourselves, and deeper into the tryptamine realms. psilocybe subaeruginosa is a very potent medicine, 3.5 dry grams equals in comparison 5 grams of cubensis. 

everything is in its right place. very grateful to have been in contact again with such a very sacred medicine, something so very dear to all of our hearts. gracias to the medicine of the music, of the plants, and eachother. 

May the music guide you into a deeper appreciation for your life here on planet earth, and inspire you to help this movement into inner and outer peace!

Ever since Kyam sent his track 'NOLA' through, we knew he'd be an artist to watch and now a few years after it's release on the 'Decade In Breakbeat' compilation we're following up with a 3 track solo 12".

'Sigh' kicks things off with it's wistful guitar notes counterpointed by some heavy hitting beats. Kyam rolls it back to his band playing days on this one, also jamming on a bass guitar to compliment the lead lick. Things really kick off during the breakdown - a wailing, distorted guitar sound coming to the fore, and once the beats drop back in, we're into overdrive !! The main motif later combines with the edgy riffs to give a bitter / sweet ending to this unique piece of D&B. Imagine The Prodigy's 'Voodoo People' crossed with Photek's remix of Therapy? ... it's kinda like that (!)

The flip side is probably more what you would expect from our camp - 'Fernweh' combines a snappy drumfunk style with a wicked bouncing b-line. Pitched chimes and airy drawn out atmospherics add to the vibe before a darker brass sound leads a more introspective 2nd drop. Dancefloor business Subtle Audio style !

'Trinket' is definitely the most frenetic of the 3 tracks here, featuring all manner of edits, filters, echoes, cuts n chops. The drum acrobatics are kept in check by a booming bassline, a soothing, repeated refrain and some dubbed out sonics. It all builds up to a swell of strings n synths at the end which seem to be the perfect ending to both the track and the release as a whole.

I felt inspired to create a mix this evening with the accompaniment of an edible indica chocolate. It just flowed out of me, with barely any edits. A transmission. 
it has been a longtime between sets, and a lot has changed within my life, and those around me. It felt good to channel my experience into the sound. I hope it lands well, and I would recommend journeying to this mix with cannabis, for she was collaborating with me. Make a small ceremony around it one evening. Embrace the sacred. And allow the music to take you to where you need to go.

Its been a while since the last mix. I have tried to make it several times since migrating overseas. Many genres wanted to be explored, and experimented with before I have settled on this piece. Alas something special was born to start the new year with. At the time of this recording, Im here in British Columbia and the winter stillness has beckoned me to enter this music space once again. The music here reflects my experience over the last few months, certain songs have impacted me in moments, and I wished to compile them all here for a 2 hour journey, replicating a recent journey we had with Huachuma the cactus here in the Rocky mountains, This experience ive tried to mirror here in this mix.

Suitable for creating art too or having as low level background music, or even in collaboration with some plant medicine one evening. Embrace the sacred with your presence whatever you do. And allow the music to take you to where you need to go.
