The frenetic ‘Fresh Jive’ features Bjarki’s trademark ethereal pads, metallic percussion and a resonant bass melody to create the perfect dancefloor ear worm. ‘Genat 8’ broods as it builds with vocal snips and jittery percussion, heavy bass and moody soundscapes. It’s an essential vinyl cut that will further define the Icelandic artists unique reworking of classic dancefloor elements into his own signature sound.

La infància. Una etapa de la vida efímera en si mateixa, i de durada indefinida. Quan ens n’adonem, ja ha quedat enrere. El tema es composa de diferents “jocs" polirítmics entre els diferents elements, simbolitzant un nen. El tema comença amb capes vocals, ja que és el primer so que emetem les persones, el nostre primer instrument (la veu). El tema avança fins que arriba a un final més tèrbol, fosc, representant la adolescència, una etapa que, amb perspectiva, la recordo turtuosa.

An ephemeral period of everyone’s life, with an undefined duration. When we realize, it has ended. The track is composed with different polyrhythmic elements which symbolize a child as it plays. Notice that the song also starts with only vocal noises, as it is the first musical sound humans can produce. It is our first instrument (the voice). The song advances until it arribes at a darker end, representing teenage. A period of time that I remember tortuous.

Il signe ici son 4ème opus sous le blaze le plus dancefloor du producteur normand, cette fois en dehors de la maison, sur le label La Freund Recordings.

Nous avons le plaisir de vous dévoiler en exclusivité le titre "All Right", un gros banger qui comme d'habitude avec le Caennais transpire le groove. Pour les habitués de son style Low Club, on en retrouve les fondations, avec un rythme au-dessus et un peu plus deeper. Une recette qui devrait faire remuer pas mal de jambes sur les dancefloors !

À noter que l'EP, qui sortira ce 24 octobre, contiendra 2 remixes signés par Duke Hugh et The Maghreban (R&S Records).
