The Miller brothers began playing music and writing songs in the early seventies. They later assumed the name “FATHOM”. They began performing in the Palm Beach area of South Florida in 1977 with a combo of fellow musicians. In 1980 they recorded the original album FATHOM that has now become the backbone of their new re-mix.

During they're years of performing they were regular guests at the Burt Reynolds Jupiter Theater.  Theater Director Charles Nelson Reilly specifically requested that FATHOM write the theme song for the world premier Of “The Gingerbread Lady”.

In 1987 FATHOM was requested to appear with Bertie Higgins of “Key Largo” fame in the ABC/ Universal mystery movie “Grand Theft Hotel” starring Burt Reynolds as B. L. Stryker.

In 1991 Miki and family moved to LA where he assumed a career in sound editing for film and television. Though separated physically they continued to collaborate musically and have compiled an impressive collection of original music which is to follow the re-release of the “FATHOM” LP.

Today's recording techniques are light years ahead of those of the 1980's. Recognizing the potential that has lain dormant in the original “FATHOM” LP the brothers are now re-recording it.

Though thousands of miles apart, (Miki in Hawaii and Hank in Florida),They combined the original tracks, used as a template, to blend yesterday's technology of  2” tape transports and tubes with today's DAW based digital workstations and a plethora of advanced systems to create a unique marriage of tonal quality, clarity and presence.

By blending the original tracks with enhancements of new vocals and additional instrumentation they have been able to create and produce what may well be what many audio enthusiasts consider the “Holy Grail” in music production. The marriage of the warmth of yesterdays analog with the clarity and versatility of today's digital sound!

Guitarist for over 40 yrs. I also play drums, bass, and sing background vocals. All songs and instruments are performed, produced, mixed, and mastered by myself.

Michael Bross sculpts a sound that traverses the serene to the haunted. He conjures rhythmic murmurs, dusty atmospheres and ponderous flights amidst the ethereal. Seemingly simple on the surface, it is detailed and textured when regarded with careful attention.

After early beginnings that appeared fireside with experimental soundscapes, jazz strains and ambient leanings, he’s found his home somewhere in the varied folds of electronic music.

In addition to finishing up and releasing a new EP, “Journeys 1” in May, 2020, Bross is known for his extensive soundtrack work on games and is a sought-after composer / producer who is heard by a global audience.

He has been the staple composer on the best-selling Ratchet & Clank series (Sony) for the last 4 titles, a franchise which has sold over 3 million units. He has also composed for Tencent's immensely popular Honor of Kings (also known as Arena of Valor in N. America), with 200 million players per month in China alone. The visually-stunning Oddworld series (over 8 million units sold) has been propelled by his soundtracks for well over a decade and have received cult status.
