[Pop Rock] - Yaadein Teri ft. Pranta Pratik

Na Jeene Se is the second song in the series of The Un-Ghazals, a project by Mohit Salgaonkar that re-imagines the ghazal in never-before-heard musical arrangements. The ghazal is a form of poetry and is not confined to the straitjacket of Hindustani semiclassical compositions and arrangements. The Un-Ghazals, therefore, are songs that have poetry that conforms to the structure of the ghazal but sound nothing like what we are used to. The ghazals are written by Mohit Salgaonkar, and the compositions and arrangements are done by Bhooshan Thite. Recording studio: Seamedu School of Pro-Expressionism. The composition and arrangement of this ghazal is in alignment with the metal genre, something that has probably never been done before.

Poetry:

न जीने से न मरने से ज़रा डरते हैँ परवाने
हम इंसानोँ पे हँसने के लिए बनते हैँ परवाने

सलामत आतिश-ए-दोज़ख़ से काफ़िर इक न निकला है
तसव्वुर इसका करवाने हमेँ जलते हैँ परवाने

सलामत = safe
आतिश-ए-दोज़ख़ = hell fire
काफ़िर = non-believer
तसव्वुर = imagination

हम अपने सोज़-ए-ग़म मेँ रोज़ जल कर राख़ होते हैँ
दम-ए-आख़िर तलक बे-सोज़ ही उड़ते हैँ परवाने

सोज़-ए-ग़म = the fire of our sorrows
दम-ए-आख़िर तलक = up until the very last breath
बे-सोज़ = unburnt

वो ज़र्रे जैसी हस्ती और ये इश्क़-ए-जुनूँ-पेशा
यक़ीनन दिलजलों की राख़ मेँ पलते हैँ परवाने

ज़र्रे जैसी = small like an atom or something that's very small
हस्ती = existence
इश्क़-ए-जुनूँ-पेशा = insane/frenzied love
यक़ीनन = most definitely
दिलजलों की = people whose hearts have burned in love/jilted lovers
