The URSL drugstore is now offering the next Dohse with the beautiful name Gork EP. ‘Gork’ means something like "brain dead" - but the title track and its remix (by Cascandy – OMG!) will definitely do the opposite in your brain. If you are feeling overwhelmed and a bit dizzy afterwards, you can always reach for 'Mellow Fellow' with a groovy beat and chill vocals to calm you down. Featuring a unique blend of downtempo electronic dance music with elements of acoustic piano and intimate voices, the upcoming EP "Aura" promises to be a captivating listening experience.
Aura is a fusion of aggressive, punchy downtempo beats that collide with genuine voices and spheric piano soundscapes. The key concept is a playful experiment with contrasts. The absence of one element makes another more visible, just as the absence of light gives room for darkness, and vice versa. Groovy drums provide a foundation for the tracks, while powerful vocals add a haunting, ethereal quality to the pieces. The EP consists of 3 tracks, one featuring the polish artist Józefina, an acclaimed pop-singer also known as Lari Lu, who has built her position performing with Varius Manx and Piotr Rubik.
The aura as a phenomenon is a subtle energy field that surrounds every person, animal, plant or moment. It is fragile and unique - it may be a summer sunrise with fog that has not yet settled, or a dramatic collage of clouds in purple, indigo and grey. It is a unique moment that exists only once in time and can pass in an instant without the possibility of repetition.
