Triple Melting Pot 2024

I used to think I could tame the dark
by playing nice and being smart
but when the darkness came, it just knocked me down
and all I could do was hold on to the ground

I finally crawled on my knees and stood
The light dismissed the dark as I knew it would
Sometimes the only thing that can save us
is remembering the love itself that made us

All the light I will ever need
is shining here right in front of me
All the light that will lift me up
I'm taking in on a breath of love
One pause, one moment now
One day, and one more mile
I can live my life
in all this light

Who knows when it all began
this feeling I'm not enough
I never once stopped and asked myself
enough, enough of what?

And now my life lays out before me
I see more clearly who I am
Like everyone, I am just one spark
Together we will rise to illuminate the dark
