It has been a long week at the office. And today is Valentine's Day. Let's pop around the corner to the small cosy jazz club we know so well. So many familiar faces, all those gentle jazz vibes floating in the air. But tomorrow is another day. Time to go home despite the rain - just thinking of all that jazz and all my love.

A free form one take  improvisation from my friend Hilario spiced up with a bass and some minor additions. 
Dedicated and inspired by Hilario’s beloved garden I used a field recording to depict and emphasize the outside atmosphere.

Dear friends, we lived close to the Cherry Valley when we were young - and now we are going back!

We meet in the cherry valley clime where cherries bloom
there is grandfather and our dear grandmother too
the small kids are there , and also dogs who will find
that this place is full of joy

The path to this wonderful place on earth
is so tricky and hard and the old people need
all help they can get, we maybe put them in a wheel-
barrow for the tough transport
