Lady Writer is an exciting new Collaboration between two British female artists based in Byron Bay, Australia, Caroline Agostini and Laura Jenkins. Between them they have an outstanding array of vocal and lyrical talent combined with a high level of song writing ability and musicianship. This is a truly unique and explosive unity of two prolific singer/songwriters who exude a real passion for music and deep connection to their art. 

Both girls have had their works showcased on BBC radio and have had a number of releases through major record labels, many of which include collaborations with plethora of well known, successful UK artists. Their accolades also include Caroline’s Diesel U music Award for song writing, as well as giving an outstanding performance to the Royal Family. Whilst Laura has had a number of original songs featured in major film releases with Universal. 

With a wealth of knowledge and experience working across a wide range of styles and genres the two have now set out to produce their own album. The songs are well put together in an original and intelligent way that compliments their luscious vocals and harmonies. The lyrics are thought provoking and beautiful with essences of light and dark which make for an interesting juxtaposition. The songs are uplifting and connect to the heart but have a very British sounding production with minimal break beats, subby bass lines and lots of atmospheric sound-scapery. 

Caroline and Laura are currently based out in the hills near Byron Bay in a beautiful musicians retreat while the album is being written and produced, they then plan to tour around Australia and the UK to promote the release

Biggsounds is a live sound production, backline hire & recording company run by Adam Biggs. With many years of experience in the live music scene, and with engineering credits which include Jon Cleary (USA), Pieta Brown (USA), Tete (France), Nano Stern (Chile), Vince Jones, Archie Roach, Mama Kin, Jeff Lang, Jackie Orzacsky and many others. 
Over the years the business has developed a specialised focus on live sound production and recording which has produced several commercially successful live albums. In 2011 this focus is expanding into live DVD production through a collaboration with Rohan Langford of Real Artworks media and a talented crew of videographers. Look for the first release from this pairing later in the year.

Empty Tin is the much anticipated first single release from Nicole Brophy's latest album. With natural onstage charisma, bangin' guitar skills and come-hither-smokey vocals it's not hard to understand why she was kidnapped by Kate Miller Heidke's band for a few years! Lucky for us Nicole is now bottling that "whiskey soaked" voice into some darn tasty brew that deserves to be heard and shared.

This catchy as hell single drives along with vintage guitar sounds and cheeky 60‘s backing vocals as it lays down the hard truth that comes from pure frustration. Empty Tin is a single that speaks to all that crave so much more from life...and love.

Nicole Brophy has a voice and style compared to the likes of PJ Harvey, Lucinda Williams & La Roux. ​Stylistically it fits somewhere between gritty rock, alt-country hoedowns and moody, bluesy numbers brought together by a raw charismatic rockin’ earthy voice and boundless energy. She has an undeniable presence on stage always moving, engaging the crowd, playing acoustic or electric guitar and just driving her passion into her songs.
Growing up on the South Coast of NSW and travelling across Australia and overseas Nicole has performed to thousands at some of Australia's biggest music festivals as front woman of her previous band Dirty Lucy or as guitarist/backing vocalist in the Kate Miller-Heidke touring band.
In previous band Dirty Lucy, their highly acclaimed debut album Dark Green was released in 2003 to rave reviews and were invited to perform at SXSW & Shepherds Bush Empire in London. The follow up album Music, People Cities, Lights & Darkness was released in 2006 while touring relentlessly to every corner of the country for over 4 years solid.

Nicole is currently completing the finishing touches on her latest album recorded in a farmhouse in the Southern Highlands of NSW co-produced by Syd Green.
