Two spherical mirrors reflecting the whole world face each other, and the eternally recurring process of reflection is a confrontation of ego and non-ego that continues until the point of convergence. When an individual included in the "whole" tries to recognize the "whole," it is forever unable to grasp the "whole," even if it tries to grasp it accurately, because it is included in the "whole." The work of mutual transformation that occurs when the "I" and the "other" face each other continues endlessly. Using each other as a mirror, we find, circulate, and permeate the image reflected in the mirror. The image reflected in the mirror is a projection of "I" and at the same time it reflects the world around me. In this way, the ego found in the mirror is at the same time the world (non-self) in the outside world, which dissolves into the "whole" through infinite r eflection.

The way in which the vision generated in the spherical mirrors develops into the "world" is this "world" itself, in which the image that arises inside of us develops

Polaroid Notes - Between Your World And Mine

Today, I'm listening to an upcoming release on Bigo & Twigetti, titled From the Deep, collecting five pieces by different composers, all performed by a newly formed Curve Ensemble. "Taking their name from the arc shape they perform in, Curve Ensemble is made up of a group of friends who met playing with many of the major orchestras and chamber ensembles on platforms throughout the UK and abroad." This is a collective of musicians, each bringing their own unique experience to the entire whole, turning original compositions into emotional, heartfelt, and honest music. These immersive performances include works from Angus MacRae, Jim Perkins, Tony Woollard, Anna De Bruin and Daniel Hewson. For my introduction to this upcoming album, I've selected a piece by none other than the founder of this London-based imprint, Jim Perkins. It's a deceptively simple composition, demonstrating how even the most unadorned melody can transform the delivery in the hands of the performers who truly connect with its message. In this piece I am trying to capture trying and failing, improving...moving towards the light.
The opening 3 chord phrase is extended and re-harmonised, growing in length, density and volume each time. After several tonal tangents we eventually succeed in resolving to a home chord of D major in the final bar.

Story
Viracocha. The Weaver of Dawn
At the dawn of time, when the sky had not yet known the blue and the earth slept under a blanket of shadows, Viracocha emerged from the waters of Lake Titicaca. He was neither man nor god, but something more ancient: the primordial breath that whispered existence into the void.
With his staff of lightning and his cloak of clouds, he walked through the Andes, shaping mountains with his steps and sowing stars in the eyes of condors. Wherever he touched the ground, rivers gushed forth; wherever he spoke, languages ​​were born. His voice was the matrix of the songs that still resonate in the shepherds' flutes.
Viracocha created the first men of stone, but seeing that they had neither soul nor compassion, he made them disappear in a great flood. Then, with clay and fire, he shaped a new humanity, more fragile but capable of loving, dreaming, and remembering.
He traveled disguised as a beggar, with a white beard and profound gaze, teaching the people the art of architecture, agriculture, and justice. In Cusco, the wise men recognized him and called him "the god who walks." But he didn't seek temples or sacrifices, but balance.
One day, seeing that men were beginning to forget harmony and were being seduced by power, Viracocha said goodbye. He walked toward the Pacific Ocean and, without looking back, entered the waves. They say he didn't sink, but walked on water, promising to return when the world needs him.

“Pavane of Memories” is a beautifully crafted orchestral variation by David Wood for the Nexa Music Orchestra, inspired by Maurice Ravel’s beloved Mother Goose Suite — specifically the “Pavane of Sleeping Beauty.” This new interpretation preserves the gentle, dreamlike character of Ravel’s original while expanding it into a fresh emotional landscape. Soft strings, delicate woodwinds, and graceful harmonic shifts give the piece a nostalgic, cinematic quality, blending classical tradition with modern creativity.
