This is a song that started off as something else entirely different. Originally, it was a noodle that I recorded using a delay pedal. I gave it to Chris Maness, who put a killer bass lines on in. so, I went back and completely reimagined it as an actual song. I thought it sounded kinda swampy, so I thought of the most musical thing I could think of about a swamp. I remember the swarms of gnats that would form different patterns when I'd sing different vibrations at them. Hence, Dance of the Gnats.

With this Epilogue is the summing up of Seagull's trilogies about our planet's past, present, and future and how it will be affected.  And because it is our home, how WE will be affected, especially our children, and our children's children extending to generations, by the choices we make now. It has been an honor to share this vision with Seagull, to contribute as an artist with him, Peter, and Debra Buesking.  It has been a meaningful journey.  The children now have something to say as we listen to the "Epilogue", but whose children; human, android, or both?
