The last Private Stock of 2012 is a kind of 'best of' show. My guests are 2 of the best: Shonky and Dyed Soundorom. They're from Paris, they play incredible music, and Dyed is really really good at playing Fifa 2030 on his iPhone (we also share the same wood skin on our phones. see below). The first show of 2013 was sent in just in the nick of time. Recorded live and direct from Sydney, Australia, I brave the spider infested streets, tree's, houses, bathrooms, and anything else that has a corner to bring you the best in Australian local talent. My guests are three very lovely ladies and extremely bad ass DJ's, Bella Sarris, Morgan, and Vlada. All were very timid and shy behind the mic, as to be expected when in the presence of such an accomplished, now international, radio host, so I let the music do the talking (wow, did I just say that? that was terrible). But speaking of moody, I'm currently in Miami for the Winter Music Conference listening to some asshole blasts Darude "Sandstorm" from the low rent DJ set up in the lobby of my hotel. Sandstorm? Really? This is why you're playing in the hotel lobby with a total of 3 people, including the concierge and bartender, in attendance. Having said that, what does that say about me that I'm staying in this type of hotel? I blame Ryan Crosson, it was a last minute booking because basically we're all lazy and unorganized and wait till the last minute for everything. So this is what I get. Why am I even telling you this? 'Cause you should never take for granted how good the music is on Private Stock. This month's show is no exception. My guest is Alexkid from Desolat, Supplement Facts, Rekkids and a shit load more. He brought some really nice stuff to the table and I've included some classics and future classics.
