Perhaps the best way to describe this fourth album from Murray Kyle is as a soundscape created by the mix of guitar, vocals and an eclectic collection of eastern and western instruments, blended with a masterful hand, to create music designed to reach deep within. The album is unashamedly a devotional collection presented in several styles of music from an almost folk-like rhythm to a more up market pulse, with a hint of Jazz or more possibly blues in there somewhere, all woven together with Kyles husky vocals. A number of the tracks have been enhanced with the addition of feminine vocals adding a further dimension to some very traditional pieces in Grandfather Sun and Ganapataye, the opening offering. Kyle lives in a beautiful, peaceful town in the mountains of New South Wales, which reflects in the ambience that floats throughout all the tracks. You can close your eyes and imagine people from yesteryear and today sitting about a fire uniting their voices and music in praise of simply being. Gentle, peaceful and reflective the selection of pieces encourages healing which comes from the true blessing of combining the love of earth, sky and mountain as well as gratitude for what is given. There is something for all tucked away in this inspired collection of sacred devotional music encompassing all aspects of the sacredness of life and living.

The second edition of IN SPIRIT Holistic Music Production Retreat took place at Aterra in Portugal in the summer of 2019. Aspiring artists, passionate musicians, and experienced music producers met with the mutual intention to learn about music production, co-create music and reconnect with their essence by surrounding themselves with beautiful nature and listening deep within through meditation, breathwork, and sacred rituals. You can experience the result of this deeply transformative, inspirational, and healing journey AND directly support your Mother Earth with this compilation. Since we have received countless blessings from the sacred lands of Portugal we are grateful for the opportunity to give something back. All the income from the compilation will be donated to fund an organization that is planting trees. For every single Euro that you spent, 1 tree in Portugal will be planted by our friends from Primal Gathering.
