Janeret is part of the rising generation of the French scene. He is one of the key artist of yoyaku's roster and the AD of Joule Imprint.

Mickael Jeanneret is one of a handful of talented rising French
DJ-producers signed to Yoyaku, the Paris-based record label, record
store, and booking agency. As Janeret, he performs regularly through
Europe, but has also toured through Japan, Australia, and the
Americas, acknowledged for his energetic sets that incorporate
minimal house and breaks. He’s also widely known for his production
work: a steady stream of exceptional EPs have established him as
“pretty much a purchase-on-sight artist, which is a rarity,” writes
one Discogs user.

Janeret grew up in Grenoble, a city in south-eastern France, but has
called Paris home since 2010. It was around this time that he began
“taking production seriously,” he explains; his earliest experiments
had started several years earlier. He marked his relocation to the
French capital with a slew of releases on various imprints, but it
wasn’t until 2015’s Heat EP that Janeret began to feel comfortable
with his production methods and style, a smooth take on deep house
with a solid groove.

The reception of these early works saw Janeret sign to Yoyaku, now a
flag-bearer of the French minimal music scene. Under the supervision
of Varhat and Benjamin Belaga, the two co-founders, Yoyaku has
launched a number of sub-labels through which Janeret and his peers
have released, including YYK no label and Aku.

Elsewhere, Janeret also heads up Joule Imprint through which he has
released music from Teluric and Roger Gerressen, among others.
Janeret launched the label with his 2016 Bright EP which featured a
Varhat remix.

Melbourne based DJ and producer BINOFSKI has always had a long-standing obsession with hard-house grooves and raw underground production aesthetics. His sound has an appreciation of all things Detroit, Chicago and UK house with a drenching of club-ready 4x4 grooves and 90’s Acid. His monthly UNCUT RHYTHM DJ sets are a brew of groovy jackin’ house and upfront underground tech through to bumpy garage and snippets of lofi. 

In the studio BINOFSKI utilizes his own unique approach that connects the dots with his sound as a DJ.  Groove-focused and addicted to hardware, you can expect a sound heavily derived from analogue synths and drum machines that’s deep, groovy and has a distinct 90’s house flavour. His less-is-more approach is a driving factor that helps him stay focused on what is really the most important element to his music: The Groove.

what makes something rhythmic? 
the systematic arrangement of musical sounds, principally according to duration (sound patterns as they exist in time). an individual's natural feeling for musical rhythm. rhythm can exist without melody, as in the underlying pulse of primitive music, but melody cannot exist without rhythm.

Australian born, of Chilean and Greek migrant parents, I am a producer and a DJ, forever a student of sound and music, and a participant of underground electronic music and its vibrant community. My artistic expression revolves around intricate, percussive-tinged dance floor-focused electronic music. Combined with pulsating baselines, drawing inspiration from the roots of electronic music in the United States, as well as Afro-Latin and South American rhythms. Rhythmically structured sound and human connection are inherent. At the core of my musical philosophy lies the belief that rhythm is inherent to human nature, evoking deep connections and an irresistible urge to move and dance. As an artist, I strive to foster this innate connection, creating musical experiences that resonate with audiences on a deep level. With my diverse cultural background, and my connection to the power of rhythm and sound, my artistic journey is a celebration of my heritage my passion for music, and my commitment to the electronic music community
