In the darkest days, when our minds feel heavy with the weight of the world, one light remains forever to lift our spirits and sparkle our joy: the sun. The life source that dictates how our bodies move in space. And what better way to honor it than by moving our bodies in a way that all humans understand? We dance! The movement that washes away all sense of disconnection from each other and unites us under the light of life.

With this EP, In Kether seeks to give all living beings a sense of joy in what may be perceived as the heavy days of our world. They aim to inspire a joyful dance in honor of the sun, the light that will always be with us no matter how dark the days seem to be. Let us all move in synchronicity and recognize the light that radiates from our bodies and souls.

All individuals who participate in a particular symbiosis are bionts and the entire organism that is comprised of these bionts is a holobiont. Meaning that essentially everything is a holobiont, because every macro-species lives in symbiosis with some other species. You're a holobiont.

A project unlike any other comes to Desert Trax this fall. Between 2009 and 2012, psychedelic bass producer Twin Shape created but left unfinished three songs that tied him inextricably to a certain time and place. As the years went on, these pieces remained rough and untouched, until he sought the help of three fellow producers to help him complete these songs.
The result is the 'Auxiliatus' EP. From the Latin to support, Alterra, Shwamp , and COAM stepped in to give Twin Shape distance, perspective, and help to revisit these original creations and give them a contemporary feel on Seeded, D&N and Glimpse, respectively. Three tightly wound compositions that have spanned nearly a decade since their inception now come to life with throbbing low end and alien implications. A strong recommendation for fans of Bird of Prey, Phutureprimitive, and Ott.

Standout Desert Trax contributor Key-G steps in for a remix of the Alterra collab, Seeded, to round out this 4-track set. The Auxiliatus EP is finally available September 13th.

Birds of Paradise is California-born producers Torin Goodnight (Bird of Prey) and Tyler Gibson (Gibson).  Since their debut in 2011, they have traveled the world, playing main stage at many of the biggest and best electronic music festivals.  Having a similar aesthetic but still maintaining an individual approach, they combine forces in a symbiotic project to work towards a common vision and master the art of collaboration.  The duo plays to its strengths- patience, beauty, and depth to offer a truly original sound of rolling percussive breakbeats, progressive melodies, incredible sound design and twisted psychedelic layers.
