Today we are have the special opportunity to share with everyone what is in my opinion the peak Communion Sundays moment of all time. Sunday July 15th 2015 we were privileged  enough to host Sebastian Mullaert, many of you know him from his projects Minilogue, as well as Son Kite, and more recently Circle of Live. 
For me this is exactly the music when I think of a perfect sound to describe Communion, deep, psychedelic, and driving. 

Recently Dave Eckblad mentioned that he had found the recording of this set, and so I decided to approach Sebastian about releasing it to the rest of you. Just so happens that set was not only a special moment to so many of us, it also happens to be a very fond memory of Sebastian’s as well.

We are releasing this exclusive live recording in conjunction with Sebastian’s new online mentoring program for musicians. 

'In Bloom is the educational branch of Circle Of Live, a project curated by Sebastian Mullaert, started in the summer of 2020. Launching with Sebastian’s first 10-week online mentorship programme, which sold out in two weeks, the platform now further hosts full courses and one-on-one sessions with some of the longest-standing live acts in electronic music - Frank Wiedemann, Erika and Steevio. 


Whether you want to be more creative in the studio, build your own live show, explore improvisation on modular synthesisers or develop any other facet of your artistic expression, In Bloom aims to offer a wide range of opportunities for creators of different backgrounds.

There are also Beatles tunes, of course, most released, some buried treasures.
It's both exhilarating and exhausting, but, if you take a break every four or five hours, your life will finally have meaning. 
Bottom line, it's everything you ever wanted to know about The Beatles, and a little bit more...

Beatles Anthology Revisited #1

Here it is.  The live recording from my all vinyl acid set at Even Furthur.  It's been over 10 years since I've played on turntables.  Some rough spots here n there but overall I'm happy how it turned out.  The set wasnt planned and I tried to speed mix to get in as many records as possible.   I forgot how much focus and concentration it took.  I forgot the feeling of satisfaction when I did nail a mix and heard the people respond.  It was exhilarating!  Mixing vinyl from the 90s is tricky but those challenges are what makes it so much fun.  

  Even Furthur brought back all those wonderful memories and emotions.  There was no better event in the US to have played those records.  And speaking of the records, many I selected were the ones I heard on Terry Mullan mixtapes.  TBH, this set was equally a tribute to Terry as much as it was to the glory days.  Terry was my biggest influence as a DJ and his mixtapes were my bible.  S/O Jared for recording the set and special thanks to Kurt and the amazing crew at Drop Bass Network for taking a chance on an "EDM" guy to play their iconic midwest techno festival.
