Love it! Its all here, echoes of England and of India. There's even echoes of Enya and definite echoes of the style of Lata Mangeshkar in playback. Most of all it describes my children. Absolutely ace.

The Song Cycle is inspired by ‘The Good Immigrant’, edited by Nikesh Shukla -
 a collection of essays by 21 BAME writers, ruminating on race & identity in contemporary Britain.

The Opening Song, 'Language is an Ocean,' features a sample of The Writer & Editor of The Good Immigrant, Nikesh Shukla conducted from a personal interview with Bishi prior to recording. The Song is a rumination on Codeswitching & The Healing Power of Language.

Welcome to the preview of my new single, 'Albion Voice,' released on St Georges Day April 23rd. 

Its the lead track from the album of the same name - out on May 28th :)  Recorded over 2 years in London, LA and Buenos Aires the song features, (film composer) John Williams’ string players!  It is about the search for identity in a multicultural world. Enjoy!
