A doom-folk ballad that walks hand in hand with the Grim Reaper. That Was Death is cinematic, eerie, and deeply atmospheric, blending finger-picked guitar with swelling strings and a slow, pounding rhythm that feels like a funeral march. The lyrics channel the Reaper’s voice, weaving haunting imagery with a ritual refrain that lingers long after the final whisper.
