Bear Beat Records was created in Italy in 2013 from passion for all music and sounds from around the world but in particular for electronic music and Italian Disco.
The purpose of this label is to recreate an experimental laboratory in which different musical cultures can meet and contaminate each other. The common thread is the love for Electronic music and especially for Digital music. 
Here at Bear Beat Records, we think that this kind of music needs to rediscover itself and to see its past, feel its present and search its future.
So both “pure” electronic music and works for which electronic is just a mere contamination can be published from our label.
Today, when we speak about the evolution of electronic music, a large space is now occupied by dance music. The grooves this label is looking for could also be found in that realm. The focus is not the perfection of the sounds or the execution, but the groove itself: the ability to communicate emotions, to evoke atmospheres. 
Even sounds that have been recorded in rough conditions, “dirty”, can find an importance if there is a groove and a certain personality.
The great influence of disco music from 70s and 80s is only the starting point from which to discover those very special atmosphere, evocative of a muffled happiness.
Similarly, the dark anxiety of certain sounds from the 90s, like the restlessness of a pounding heavy beat (typical of Techno or Dark House), is one of the great feelings we look for.
For all these reasons, this label is open to any type of work that wants to discover new ways through electronic music. 
We are convinced that, thanks to the possibilities to create art that technology gives us now, the coming to light of new artist work is within the reach of all. Self expression of artistic talent has become a popular thing. And this is a good thing.
This label comes from the presumption that the music of our time is that: electronic and beat. The minimalist style of new electronic music is linked to the beats and the sounds of synthesizers - while at the same time open to any musical influence beyond time and space. Live in peace!


Black Dad is the love child of Louie Husted(Scandals) and Miles Kazemian(Your City Sleeps). Most songs being improv, they offer a wide variety of musical styles.
