Solarstone’s Pure Trance movement has helped redefine the trance landscape since it’s inception in 2012. Pure Trance Progressive is it’s latest expansion – focusing on promoting the resurging deeper, slower side of the Pure Trance sound.

Glaswegian Nick Callaghan has been releasing a steady stream of polished and sophisticated trance records since 2008, most recently on labels like Damaged, Monster and Kearnage and his DJ sets are renowned for their combination of trance, techno and psy. He does, however, also have a deeper more progressive side to his sound, which he explores here on the 125bpm Since 83 - an immersive production that fuses hypnotic samples and sequencer lines, ethereal vocal snatches and pounding percussion.
