Gannein - Desiderium [GNRL002]

Gannein’s latest self-released EP is focused on quiet storytelling : across 4 tracks, he crafts a sonic narrative where every detail serves a purpose, blending a subtle cinematic depth with the raw functionality required for the most discerning dancefloors. The project moves with a purposeful tension, whether exploring darker shadows or finding moments of optimism, providing an arsenal for DJs who build their sets with feeling and depth.

1. Gannein - Desiderium : This is a deep, dubby epilogue for the long night. The track settles the mind with a hypnotic, contemplative groove, proving a journey defined by spaciousness can be just as potent as one with force.

2. Vubard : From that quiet space, the project shifts into a grim, haunting underworld. This is a rhythmic score built on a skeletal, percussive framework, its cold precision cutting through the atmosphere with visceral intent.

I always think “I’m too young to work with big labels and to collab with talented artists.” But every time I try my best so I decided to write to one of my favourite young artist: David. I never thought that he would accepted. From this moment starts our friendship. Two kids that produce the skeleton of a track and send back to the other that modify some stuffs, then they try labels, they are rejected, but they try again and again. "Helsinki Finland, it was my first visit & I was also headlining. When the plane landed I was thinking we were going directly to my hotel to get ready, grab a bite to eat, then head out later to the gig. Met by a promoter he explained that I was DJing in 30 minutes & we were going straight to the venue. First I was disappointed but the minute I got on stage & played my sound I forgot everything, seeing the crowd dancing enjoying my music makes me humble & gives me a massive feeling of gratitude.
