Bladed is the solo project of the norwegian vocalist and composer Anita Kaasbøll and since founding it in 2004, she’s collaborated with some of the most unconventional and creative musicians in Norway. From the album debut in 2009 and onward, Bladed has continuously delved into new genres and soundscapes. Every album has its own characteristic sound reflecting Anita’s development as a songwriter, but even so there’s an evident thread connecting the material of the three albums. A thread that weaves a compelling impression of an exploring musicality and a keen sense of melody.
