Welcome to Side B of #32weeksMixtape! As of this video, we are now in phase 4 of  4. This phase's topics/feelings/concepts involve: 💝Love/Acceptance/Ownership/Independence💝

Starting off this phase by addressing my mother! Mama Cato ( my mother's nicknamed as dubbed by P). I have been meaning to write a song that uplifts my mama. Last year, I had been doing a lot better at staying in consistent contact with my immediate family as a means of self-care. My mom was one of the people that I wanted to really just attempt to get closer to. Around that time, I was working on myself heavy, and for whatever reason, I learned more about my mom's past. Needless to say, at the same time, I grew a huge understanding of what it means to be a parent. It helped me see that my mom (not perfect), did the best she could with the resources that were available to her. She truly is a Queen, and if her name's etymology didn't bother her, I would tell her she is a Goddess for real. I wrote a few different tracks that will be out in the near future that pay homage, expresses gratitude, and honors her. But during the #32weeksmixtape writing era, I wanted to be sure to include her...just like my brother, and (foreshadowing) my sisters. "Black Is King" was a huge inspiration in understanding/accepting the loving nature that (black) women in my life offer to their black men/sons/fathers/etc. 

*Mama if you read this...I hope you know that I love you and truly appreciate all that you have done for US (me and your other children)!*
