Captain Elara Voss steered the Scartaris with steady hands, her eyes scanning the jagged stalactites overhead, knowing that the secrets of the long-lost culture—etched in the worn stone statues lining the cavern—held the key to the energy source her crew had been sent to find. As the ship pressed deeper into the heart of the Earth, the air thrummed with an otherworldly energy, whispering promises of discovery and danger in equal measure.
